Dr. Genecar Erfe talked about Lung and Prostate Cancer Screening while Dr. Vanina Htun-Javier discussed Cervical and Colorectal cancer screening. Dr. Honey Abarquez focused on cancer registry while Dr. Amherstia Morelos moderated the session.
The 112th Annual Philippine Medical Assiciation (PMA) Convention was held at SMX Convention Center in Davao City from May 14-17, 2019, with the theme “Health Literacy for all Filipinos”. It was a well attended event with 2241 registered attendees. Our PSMO members, Dr. Honey Sarita Abarquez, Dr. Amherstia Morelos, Dr. Vanina Htun-Javier, and Dr. Genecar Hamo-Erfe have participated as speakers for the said convention with the following topics: Cancer Registry, Colorectal and Cervival Cancer Screening, Lung and Prostate Cancer Screening, and Nutrition in Chronically Ill Patients with Malignancy.
