Congratulations to the Baguio Medical Oncology Group and Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center Cancer Center for the successful fun run last January 6, 2024 as an initiative for liver disease awareness campaign by the Department of Health. This was led by the Hepatology Society of the Philippines in collaboration with Philippine Cancer Society Cancer Commission and Philippine Society of Medical Oncologist, with Dr. Karen Tadeo and Dr. Janice Banez as coordinators. Dr. Josephine Contreras-Tolentino, PSMO President, was also present to join the activity.

The event was followed by a comprehensive discussion on Multidisciplinary Team in Hepatocellular Carcinoma delivered by our Cancer Expert, Dr. Mary Gay Buliyat. The lecture was graced by the Undersecretary of Health, Dr. Enrique Tayag.
