- Is the registration fro BHW Training + Workshop on Cancer 101 free?
Yes. It registration is free. Register at https://bit.ly/BHWOnlineRegistration .
- Can I use the barangay’s common email address?/ Can I use other people’s email address?
No. It is highly encouraged to use personal email address for certificate generation purposes. If 5 barangay members registered using one email address, the certificate will go to the first registrant.
- What are the requirements for PSMO Online Microsite Learning?
It is highly encouraged to use at least 25 mbps internet connection or WIFI connection and access the PSMO Online Learning Microsite using Google Chrome.
- Is late registration allowed for the BHW participants?
Yes. Late registration may be accommodated up to 12:30pm. This should give the late registrant enough time to complete lectures just before the live workshop activity at 3pm.
- Upon receiving registration confirmation/ successful registration via email, what do I do next?
Log-in to the PSMO Online Learning Microsite Platform via http://events.psmo.org.ph using your registered username/email address and password generated OR use the Magic Link found in your registration confirmation email. You can also go directly to the Cancer 101 online event on February 18, 2022, 1pm through this link https://events.psmo.org.ph/events/bhw-cancer-101-welcome-introduction-and-training-mechanics
- What is the magic link found in the “Registration Confirmation” or “Successful Registration” email?
A magic link is an individualized link access (generated per email address upon successful registration) to login to the PSMO Online Learning Microsite Platform at http://events.psmo.org.ph. As long as you have this link, you can have unlimited login access to the PSMO Online Learning Microsite Platform and you can also secure your certificates online.
- What is a pre-test?
A pre-test is a quick online survey/test before the Cancer 101 Module Learning. It can be accessed here: https://forms.gle/HE9Cr169wb8iNUj47 . Pre-tests answers are required prior Certificate Generation.
- What is a post-test?
A post-test is a quick online survey/test after completion of the the Cancer 101 Module Learning. It can be accessed here: https://forms.gle/yFFXASkVVd2cvW9X9 . Post-test answers are also required prior Certificate Generation.

- If Activity #1 is not completed within the allotted time, should the group just move on to Activity #2 or should the group complete Activity #1?
Activity #1 should be completed before moving to Activity #2. The participants should understand the concepts from the lectures and our advocacy for early prevention and detection. Being able to assess an individual and subsequently make recommendations is an important skill that they’ll need in assessing an entire community.
There will be a broadcast message to all breakout rooms regarding time left for the activity.

- If unable to finish Activities and it’s already time to go back to the plenary room, will we get extension to finish the activities?
Unfortunately, we can’t give time extension since the official time of participants will only be up to 5 pm. We will, however, give time for you to discuss among yourselves about the group’s worksheet, and submit the worksheet at a later date. Deadline of submission will be on Monday February 21, 2022.
- If a participant gets disconnected from the internet, do facilitators wait for him or her to log-in again?
No. The workshop continues just as long as there are still participants in the breakout room.
- What if I missed completing the 6 sessions of online microsite learning?
Using your PSMO microsite username/email add and password or magic link found in your registration confirmation email, you can go back to CANCER 101 learning modules you’ve missed. You can also view the module lectures again in your most convenient time.
- What if I missed the zoom facilitators’ workshop?
The workshop continues as long as there are participants in the breakout room. If the participant fails to complete Activity 1 and Activity 2, s/he will be encouraged to join the next Live Workshop which will be announced in the AKAP Community FB page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/akapcommunity
- If a participant gets disconnected from the internet, will he still be able to get a certificate?
As long as the BHW participant gets to participate in the breakout room and name was written in the attendance/worksheet, he/she will receive a certificate.
- What if I missed answering pre+ post test, post workshop survey?
Missing answering pre- and post-tests, post-worskhop survey and missing submission of Worksheets with attendance will, unfortunately, not qualify for Certificate of completion awarding.
- What if we missed submission of the Breakout Session Activity Worksheets?
Missing answering pre- and post-tests, post-worskhop survey and missing submission of Worksheets with attendance will, unfortunately, not qualify for Certificate of completion awarding.
- Where to a refer patient with tumor/ suspected cancer?
List of hospitals with IM/Cancer Clinic for charity or service are included in the Participant’s guide. You may tell them to look into the guide and see which hospital is near to them, or if private patient, may go to https://psmo.org.ph/patients/find-a-doctor/
We also suggest to make a logbook of these patients referred for screening and which hospital they are referred to (so we may contact them in the future and see if we are achieving one objective of this project that we are able to increase number of people screened, and if we get more cases in early stage than late stage cancers.)

- How to get certificates?
Completion of module/ online learning videos, Activities 1 and 2 of the breakout session, submission of Activity worksheets (take a photo and send to [email protected]) , pre-test and post-test, and post workshop surveys will enable you to get certificates. The certificate link will be announced at the end of the workshop or in the AKAP community page in FB.
