Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital (JBLMRH) in cooperation with Philippine Society of Medical Oncology (PSMO) Pampanga members officially launched its Cancer Support Group dubbed “Breast Friends: Stronger Together” in time Breast Cancer Awareness Month last October 27, 2023. Kudos to the headship of Dr. Paolo Tioleco, who gathered all the members of the Pampanga Oncology Community into this worthwhile activity.

Creating a cancer support group to foster camaraderie is a compassionate and supportive initiative. These groups offer a sense of community, understanding, and encouragement for individuals facing cancer, as well as their families and caregivers. Sharing experiences and emotions within such groups can provide valuable support during a challenging time.
